Skills that I posses
As a
graduate of BSc agriculture, I have learned many technical skills and soft
skills. These skills will help me to build a strong foundation and help me
handle challenges.
Communication
: communication is not just about talking, it is about connecting with people,
sharing ideas in a better manner and listening carefully. During RAWEP in my
graduation I often had to engage with different group of farmers. At that time,
I have improved a lot, and I learned how to communicate with them.
Time
Management:
Time is one
of the most valuable resources, and I have learned many things in my graduation
like Balancing academics, fieldwork, and personal responsibilities during my
degree taught me the importance of planning and how to use time properly.
problem-Solving:
Agriculture
is a field full of challenges, and problem-solving is a daily necessity. From identifying issues in crop production ,problems
in fields and I have learned how to find practical solutions for those problems.
Soil Science and Management:
Understanding soil is fundamental to farming. Through my coursework and practical experiences, I have learned how to test soil for its nutrient content, pH levels, and texture. These analyses allow me to recommend suitable crops and fertilizers to enhance soil productivity.
Hands-on
with Agriculture machinery:
Modern
Farming mostly depends upon machinery. During my graduation, I gained knowledge
on equipment like seed drills and harvesters.
Pest
Management Skills in Agriculture:
As an
agriculture graduate, one of the key technical skills I have developed is pest
management. Managing pests effectively is essential for maximizing crop yield,
ensuring food quality, and reducing the environmental impact of farming
practices.
These
skills are always a base as I grow up reminding me that self-improvement is a
life time process.
