Key learnings
2024 has been a year of transformation, challenges, and valuable lessons. As an agriculture student, I embarked on a new chapter this year, taking my first steps into the professional world, but it was not just about my job. I also started my PGDM, met new friends, faced challenges, and learned more about myself than I ever expected.
One of the most significant changes this year was enrolling in my Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). I decided to pursue this course to expand my knowledge and enhance my career growth.
In addition to academic growth, one of the most rewarding aspects of starting my PGDM has been meeting new people. I have met classmates from diverse backgrounds, each bringing their own perspectives and experiences. Networking with them has been a fantastic opportunity to expand my horizons, not just academically but also personally.
One unexpected and frustrating experience this year was losing my mobile. It felt like a huge setback, not just because of the inconvenience, but also the emotional toll of losing something that was essential to my daily life. At first, it seemed like a big loss, but in hindsight, it turned out to be a valuable lesson in resilience and independence.
Instead of relying on others, I decided to replace it with my own earnings. This decision motivated me to work harder and manage my finances more wisely. It was empowering to know that the money I earned through my first job was able to cover something that felt like a personal achievement. It taught me the value of self-reliance, and how setbacks can be opportunities for growth.
One of the biggest lessons I have learned this year is that nothing is permanent—whether it is the highs or the lows, everything changes with the time.
