Why I choose ABM as Major.
Agriculture is more than just an occupation; it is the backbone of our economy and way of life for millions of people in our country. Moreover, I was born and brought up in an agricultural family. In childhood I used to go to the farm with my parents .Those early mornings spent in the fields, helping with sowing, watering, and harvesting, has created most beautiful memories for me.
When it came to choosing my career, agriculture felt like the most natural path. That’s why I pursued B.Sc. in agriculture where I learned about the science behind farming and strengthened this connection, providing with me with a solid foundation in agriculture practices. I saw that many farmers working hard and they struggling to get fair prices for their products, at the time I prepared to take the next step by pursuing a post graduate diploma in management with specialization in Agri business management. This course will teach me how to apply business strategies to agriculture and how to create value, and it helps me to understand market dynamics, how to bridge the gap between traditional farming practices and modern agribusiness strategies.
My childhood in the fields gave me an emotional connection to agriculture, and my education is now giving me the tools to make a bigger impact. I want to use what I am learning to help farmers like my parents—whether it is through better marketing, supply chain management, or introducing innovative solutions to age-old problems.
For me, agriculture is not just a career, it’s my story, my roots, and my future. I am excited to take this journey forward, combining the values I learned on the farm with the knowledge I am gaining now, to create a better future for farmers and the agricultural community.
